MOKANVAN members - Rebekah (Limato) Tessitore emailed our group seeking participants for her research project.

I'm a Vascular Access Specialist and fellow AVA member who is completing my PhD at Grand Canyon University. My research focuses on Vascular Access Specialists and participants have the opportunity to advance research for Vascular Access Specialists and the field of performance psychology.

  • The topic for my dissertation is: Vascular Access Specialist Description of Anxiety, Self-Confidence, and Simulation Training.
  • My problem statement is: It is not known how Vascular Access Specialists (VAS) describe the role of simulation training on their individual anxiety and self-confidence when performing central line insertion in order to mitigate procedural error.
  • Participants/volunteers have the opportunity to participate in:
    • An individual interview
    • A focus group
    • Or both an interview and focus group
The attachment contains the information related to my research.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
